Bossington Hall

Set on Coastal Somerset, bordering Devon in the Porlock Vale, this tranquil and serene location is perfect for your relaxing short break holiday, or a walking holiday base to explore the Exmoor scenery.

Practical elements like a Mud / Boot Room by the front door and dog towels, through to WiFi and binoculars will ensure a relaxing break. Just ten minutes off the South WestCoast Path, or Coleridge Way, Bossington Hall is rural but not remote, with Porlock village just a mile away. You have a choice of Eight separate B and B rooms, with private or ensuite bathrooms. They have an EV Charge point for your car, a large lounge and bar to relax in all day, and just installed – a Sauna!

Bossington Hall is a B and B not a boutique hotel, so evening meals will need to be taken in Porlock or Dunster villages, or bring back a takeaway, or perhaps just a light bite from the Honesty Bar cheese and biscuits platters?

Proud owners of the oldest Squash Court in England, and a hard tennis court if you need to get the blood pumping. Dogs are welcome at Bossington Hall, in two of the rooms, (Embercombe and Longpool).

Each of the rooms are varied and characterful, so please take a moment to choose one that suits your needs – what is important to you? A Sea View (Heddon, Greenaleigh, Embercombe or Danesbrook), or having a low entrance shower (Heddon, Greenaleigh, Embercombe, Jennifrieds, Longpool) – or perhaps the roll top Bath (Heddon, Danesbrook, Ivystone) is the most important point? In any room, the beds are supremely comfortable, and quiet.

The included breakfast is a full cooked menu with selections from smoked salmon on scrambled eggs, to poached egg on avocado and more, as well as a buffet system including Croissants, cereals, fruits, cooked meats and cheese.

The grounds include free use of the squash court, a hard tennis court, and 8 acres to explore, or just as a base to find Exmoor’s beauty.
