In recent years, Taunton had become a market town without a weekend market. Local business woman Michelle Beck, who runs By Invitation Events, dreamed of bringing the heart back to our County Town by creating a monthly destination market.
The Taunton Independent Market launched successfully in March 2020 with over 65 stalls and exceeded all expectations by bringing a positive vibe to Taunton’s town centre and attracting in excess of 7.5k people into the County Town on the day.
