The Hatch inn offers a warm and friendly welcome, whether you're looking to dine in our restaurant, relax with a coffee and a delicious cake, or stay overnight and spend some time discovering what the surrounding countryside has to offer.

Ideally suited for both walkers and horse riders, close by is the Neroche Staple Fitzpaine Herepath (old English for 'people's path'). This is a 13.5 mile off-road trail. Visit the Neroche website for more details.

Within easy reach of Lyme Regis and The Jurassic Coast (18 miles), the Hatch Inn Overlooks the Blackdown Hills it is surrounded by rolling fields and beautiful countryside. The Blackdown Hills is a designated area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.



Our rooms

Our on-suite bedrooms provide all the comfort you need if your thinking about spending some time exploring the picturesque Somerset countryside. Breakfasts includes a Full English using an award winning local butcher for our bacon and Sausages. We also serve a continental style breakfast.


A warm and friendly welcome is exactly what you will receive when you stay with us. Whether you wish to join us in the restaurant or just enjoy a peaceful escape to the beautiful countryside we will endeavour to make your stay at the Hatch Inn a pleasant and memorable one.

5pm - 11pm (food 6pm - 9pm)

Fri: 12pm - 11pm

(food 12pm - 2.30pm and 6pm - 9pm)

Saturday: 12pm - 11pm

(food 12pm - 2.30pm and 6pm - 9pm)

Sunday:  12pm - 5pm  (food 12 - 2:30pm)
